Dr. William D. Cook
A born and raised Missourian, Dr. Cook is originally from Joplin. He graduated from Joplin Senior High School in 1964 and continued forward as he pursued his lifelong career in orthodontics. Dr. Cook appreciates all that Joplin has to offer and he is dedicated to serving the community that for so many years has served him.

- Certificated of Orthodontics – University of Missouri Kansas City, 1974
After completing his orthodontic education, Dr. Cook returned to Joplin where he opened his own private practice in 1974. In 2008, Dr. Cook joined with Dr. LaFerla and has been creating smiles with style ever since.
In his spare time, Dr. Cook enjoys doing all of the things that make him smile!
Two of the most important smiles in Dr. Cook’s life are those of his two sons. Outside of the practice, Dr. Cook loves spending time with his sons and their families, and as a proud grandfather, he treasures the time he gets to spend with his grandchildren. Dr. Cook also enjoys raising beef cattle, boating, fishing and reading.
