Cheryl
Business Coordinator/Treatment Coordinator
Cheryl is both a certified dental assistant and a certified orthodontic assistant and now works as our business and treatment coordinator. She began working with Dr. Cook in 1999 and has been with our team ever since! When she’s not at the practice, Cheryl enjoys traveling, crafts and spending time with her family.
Dana
Orthodontic Assistant
Dana is a registered dental assistant for Drs. LaFerla and Cook and began working with our team in 2011. Originally from Neosho, MO, Dana enjoys the many outdoor activities this area has to offer, as well as gardening, shopping and being with her family.
Debbie
Lab Coordinator/Orthodontic Assistant
Debbie is a certified orthodontic assistant. She began working with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook in 1999. She is originally from Branson, MO. Debbie’s hobbies include cooking for her family, spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with friends.
Debbra
Orthodontic Assistant
Debbra joined our practice in 2007 as a certified dental assistant. When she is away from the practice, Debbra enjoys gardening, swimming, hiking, volunteering at the Community Clinic, spending time with family, exercising and mission work.
Erma
Records Coordinator
Erma began working with Dr. Cook in 1978 and has been with us ever since! Erma is a certified dental assistant and certified orthodontic assistant who now serves as our records coordinator. When Erma is away from the practice, she looks forward to her time spent reading, traveling and playing with her grandsons.
Frances
OSHA Coordinator/Inventory Coordinator
Frances is a certified expanded function dental assistant who currently is our OSHA and inventory coordinator. She started working for Drs. LaFerla and Cook in 2010. Frances’ hobbies include photography, biking, camping, gardening and spending time with her kids at the University of Arkansas.
Glenda A.
Scheduling Coordinator
Glenda has worked as orthodontic assistant, dental assistant and receptionist for the last 22 years and has worked with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook since 2005. She is originally from LaRussell, MO. In her spare time, Glenda enjoys traveling, cooking, fishing, gardening, watching her grandkids play sports, hanging out with her family and teaching First and Second graders at church.

Orthodontic Assistant
Glenda began working with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook in 2005 as a certified orthodontic assistant. Glenda’s hobbies outside of the practice include traveling, reading and finding secret treasures and great bargains by shopping at flea markets and rummage sales.
Jenn
Orthodontic Assistant
Jenn has five years of general dentistry experience and joined our orthodontic team in 2011. Her hometown is Joplin, MO. Jenn enjoys shopping, spending time with family and volunteering at the Joplin Family YMCA.
Jordan
Office Assistant/Clinical Assistant
Jordan has worked in the orthodontic field since 2009 as one of our office and clinical assistants. She is originally from Fort Scott, KS. When she’s not in the office, Jordan enjoys church activities and spending time with her family and friends.
Joyce
Orthodontic Assistant
Joyce is a certified orthodontic assistant. She joined our practice and began working with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook in 2007. Joyce loves working with young kids. She enjoys reading and teaching classes for the three-year-olds who attend her church.
Krista
Orthodontic Assistant
Krista is a certified orthodontic assistant and has worked at the practice with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook since 2002. She was born and raised in Joplin, MO. Outside of the practice, Krista’s hobbies include gardening, reading, singing in the choir, working out and spending time with her family and friends.
Larissa
Orthodontic Assistant
Larissa is a certified dental assistant, joining our practice in 2009. Her hobbies include horseback riding, gardening, spending time with family and friends, watching sports and riding four-wheelers.
Lisa
Financial/Insurance Coordinator
Lisa is a certified dental practice management administrator. She began working with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook in 2005. Lisa enjoys cooking, crocheting, reading and playing Mahjong Titans when she is away from the practice.
Nancy
Clinical Coordinator
Nancy is a certified orthodontic assistant and began working with Dr. Cook in 1989 and has been with our team ever since. Nancy’s hobbies outside of the practice include reading, going on cruises, watching movies and of course, shopping!
Sandy
Treatment Coordinator/Orthodontic Assistant
Sandy began working at the practice with Dr. LaFerla and Dr. Cook in 2002 and has over 12 years of experience in the dental field. She is originally from Columbus, KS. In her spare time, Sandy uses her creativity designing jewelry, making hair bows for infants, kids, and adults and enjoying sports with her three great kids.
Shana
Scheduling Coordinator
Shana joined our practice as a scheduling coordinator in 2002, giving her over 10 years of experience in the dental field. While away from the practice, Shana enjoys spending her time singing, reading, traveling with her two kids, watching movies and hanging out with her friends.
